Founder & Principal Operator, Davrac Rural Pest Services

Built by a Rural Operator Who Understands the Impact of Pest Pressure

Davrac Rural Pest Services was founded by David Rivett to provide landholders with a professional, accountable approach to vertebrate pest management across regional NSW. Having worked closely with rural properties and farming operations, David has seen firsthand the impact that unmanaged foxes, wild dogs, feral pigs, deer and rabbits can have on livestock, pasture and farm productivity.

Davrac was established on a simple principle: landholders deserve more than a one-off service. They need clear communication, practical solutions, measurable results and confidence that every operation is conducted safely, legally and professionally. Today, Davrac partners with farmers, landholder groups, councils and agencies to deliver structured pest management programs focused on protecting livestock, supporting productivity and reducing long-term pest pressure.

After seeing the increasing impact of pest pressure on livestock production and property productivity across the Central West, David established Davrac Rural Pest Services to provide landholders with a professional service built on accountability, compliance and measurable results

"As a locally based operator, I understand the challenges faced by   Central West landholders and take pride in delivering practical,         professional pest management that protects both livestock and       livelihoods."

    Case Stories

Our case studies show exactly how structured pest management works in practice. From reducing fox activity during lambing to controlling large-scale feral
pig pressure, each program is planned, tracked, and measured over time. We document what’s happening on your property,
what actions are taken, and the results achieved — so you’re not guessing where your money is going.
These aren’t one-off wins; they’re clear examples of how a coordinated approach leads to ongoing reduction in pest pressure and
better outcomes for your livestock, pasture, and productivity.

Immediate Action Against Predators in an Active Lambing Paddock

During a high-risk lambing period, three foxes were removed from an active paddock as part of a targeted pest management program.

Thermal detection and property-specific planning identified predators actively impacting livestock areas.

The operation delivered an immediate and measurable reduction in predation pressure during a critical production period.

By acting early, stock losses were minimised and livestock welfare was better protected.

All activities were conducted in accordance with relevant compliance and animal welfare requirements.

GPS-mapped reporting provided clear documentation of activity, locations, and outcomes.

The result demonstrates the value of proactive, evidence-based pest management.

Structured intervention at the right time helps protect livestock, productivity, and long-term farm profitability.
